This document is needed for industrial equipment providing danger to the environment and used in industry or oil-chemistry sector which has flammable, combustible, explosive properties.
Rostekhnadzor Certificate is used as kind of using licence. The certificate known as GGTN (GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) in previous years has been centralized and moved to federal platform and RTN (ROSTEKHNADZOR)
Products or equipment which needs RTN Certificate (Permission)
Valves and clacks used in oil-chemistry and gas sites.
Load and person carrying lifts, escalators.
Industrial cranes ve building cranes, elevators
Air and gas Compressors
Pressure equipment
All systems having, producing and carrying hot steam
Electromechanic equipment who needs ex-proof ATEX properties.
Special warehousing units: Gas and oil warehouses, combustible-flammable or toxic material keeping warehouses.
All systems producing heat by using gas, boilers and high degree ovens.
Patching works which can create danger amd equipment related with this.
All equipment used in oil rafineries.
All equipment used in mining or underground.
Metal melting ovens.
RTN Certification Types:
RTN using licences are given on party base or serial production (generally 3 years).
Different RTN Certification can be issued for the same product depending on the place of use. As an example, for a valve, if this valve will be used in an oil rafinery, expertise report will be set on specific parameters and applied for legal permission, if the same valve will be used in a gas station, it will be evaluated according to different parameters and pressure values and the certificate received can be different.
RTN Certification Procedure and Process steps:
GOST Certicifate must be received earlier for a product to get RTN certificate. These two operation can be ran at the same time, in RTN process, technical characteristics and engineering measures play a role. These certificates can be issued according to products, a product line which produces a specific product or a process system whichs scope has already been determined and can be issued in different ways.
1. Your products and organizations current situation will be analyzed in detail and our price bid will be sent by e-mailk according to the situation of your products and commercial purposes.
2. If you have any, please send a copy of your GOST certificates or other Quality Certificates (ISO 9000 etc).
3) No samples will be asked for from your side, detailed technical documentation and engineering measures will be asked for and these will be examined by an authorized body for handing out an expertise report compatible with technical requirements.
4) Application will be made with the mentioned report to the legal authorities in Russia and your RTN (ROSTEKHNADZOR) document will be received. This can take up to 2 months.
